Constructing the Landscape through Environmental Humanities. An overview

The landscape has been studied by composing the gaze of the scientists, who are attentive to the naturalistic environment, and that of the humanists, who have dealt with the study from its aesthetic fruition. One wonders whether, on a planet where human beings are only 0.01% of the biomass, but they could modify the climate, we should not rather speak of a landscape constructed by a co-evolution of human beings and the biogeophysical environment: one of the themes to be brought back to the interdisciplinary framework of the Environmental Humanities.
