Un estudio contrastivo y pedagógico español-italiano acerca del tratamiento lingüístico-traductológico de unidades léxicas dotadas de carácter figurado e idiomático

This paper focuses on the treatment of lexical units endowed with figurative and metaphorical character both from a pedagogical perspective and from a contrastive and translatological one. In the first aspect, it is a complex issue to address from a didactic point of view. In the second, the linguistic kinship between Spanish and Italian can pose difficulties when it comes to translating from one language into another. After presenting a brief overview about the idiomatic and figurative expressions, we will point to a didactic methodology focused on its pedagogical treatment. Finally, we will carry out an analysis of the lexical units with an idiomatic character from a Spanish-Italian contrastive and translatological perspective, in order to analyze how both languages conceive certain concepts as well as pragmatic and cultural conventions.
