The contrastive analysis of the adverbs también (Spanish) and anche (Italian) reveals interesting differences between the two languages on the syntactic, informative, presuppositional and argumentative level. Firstly, we illustrate them accurately; then, we try to explain them putting forward the hypothesis of procedural meaning.
