Abstract

A recent ruling by the Council of State on public billposting reopens the debate on the boundaries of the public administration in prohibiting the display of posters that may offend certain sensitivities. It is an opportunity to reflect on the limits existing in the legal system to the freedom to put up posters, also considering a certain regulatory disorder caused by some uncoordinated interventions in recent years.
