Though the cemeteries of Selinus have been explored since the mid-19th century, a small number of graves has been published so far. In order to learn more about the funerary practice of Selinus, in 2021 a new PhD project began at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. The focus of the research is on the topography of the burial areas and the reconstruction of funerary customs. This paper discusses the methodology and presents the first data about an unpublished grave plot excavated in 1959 in the cemetery of Manicalunga.
