Musei fra le due guerre: racconto di un’annessione. Il caso della Pinacoteca civica di Ancona fra riallestimenti e dispersioni

The paper examines the history of the civic heritage of Ancona, subject in 1919 of the rearrangement of Luigi Serra. The collection was divided in a number of core as a result of the annexation of the Civic Art Gallery at the National Archaeological Museum, between 1928 and 1929. The survey presents documentary sources about the balance sheet of the collections, the fi rst notes on the dispersion of relics of Francesco Podesti, news on conservative policies and on the fi ling of documents signed in the early thirties, including the private collection of Enrico Milano.
