This contribution presents the first results of the research carried out at the Ca ’Foscari University, that relates the intellectual and friendship networks of Count Zinzendorf with the Venetian diplomatic correspondences and the Auersperger Miniaturbücher, a collection of drawn portraits from the 18th century. These results are related to the artistic activity of Karl Alexander von Schell and Franz Linder, active between Vienna, Ljubljana and Trieste in the second half of the 18th century and the beginning of 19th century.

Abstract
