La expresión evidencial introducida por CONQUE: significado mirativo y función discursiva en la interacción

In the present work we focus the attention on the utterance introduced by the Spanish illative conjunction conque. First, we describe the evidential meaning integrating the notion of mediativity with the notion of intersubjectivity. Second, in order to explain the modal charge, we analise the utterance introduced by conque in relation to the category of mirativity. Third, we justify the appearance of this mirative meaning by introducing the hypothesis of a procedural poliphonic and focal instruction. Finally, we analize the discourse function in the interaction by integrating Anderson 1986's justification hypothesis with the pragmatic notions of propositional deixis, authority, right and ownership of the information and in relation to the pragmatic phenomena of attenuation and intensification.
