Way before the death of the author, a series of texts focused on the construction of a new form of modern subject decides to take charge of the autobiographical narrative. In between the gallery of possible models, in Golden Age stands out soldiers’ lives, which constitutes an early form of autobiography destined to the interested narration of a life. This work offers a panoramic approach to the diverse modulations of autobiographical writing in the military relaciones, to present a reflection on the forms and patrons of soldiers’ tales.
