Photographs. Not only "Fotografia" ("Photograph"). The manuscripts of the writer reveal the process of creating the text, expand the field of interpretation and suggest new questions concerning important subjects of the work of Herbert: memory, construing text identity, concealing the traces of the subject's emotional involvement. Other works by the poet turn out to be important for the interpretation of this poem, such as those in which the theme of photographs appears, as well as essays by photographers and researchers dedicated to the art of photography.
