This paper presents a stylistic analysis of Federico García Lorca’s first book, Impresiones y paisajes (1918), written in an intertextual, interartistic and metapoetic way. The comparison between Lorca’s cromatic symbolism and the ’98 painters’ aesthetics (Regoyos, Zuloaga) reveals interesting similarities, in particular, the similar negative meaning of the two colors, green and yellow.

Abstract
This paper presents a stylistic analysis of Federico García Lorca’s first book, Impresiones y paisajes (1918), written in an intertextual, interartistic and metapoetic way. The comparison between Lorca’s cromatic symbolism and the ’98 painters’ aesthetics (Regoyos, Zuloaga) reveals interesting similarities, in particular, the similar negative meaning of the two colors, green and yellow.File in questo prodotto:
