This Ph.D. thesis aims to set a background knowledge on risk-based and sustainable brownfield regeneration; to understand roles, perceptions, concerns, attitudes and information needs of EU stakeholders; and to develop an Information System for Brownfield Regeneration (ISBR) that allows to more deeply understand stakeholders’ information needs and to answer them providing customised information to enhance informed brownfield regeneration among decision-makers.
