In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, breath is situated at the threshold where body and mind meet and psychophysical life becomes an opening towards liberation. Essential in guiding the meditator’s attention, it enables interoceptive techniques that reshape the dynamic unity of body and conscious experience from within. This study examines how the conscious use of breath, within Tibetan doctrinal and contemplative frameworks, informs an integrated conception of human experience, in which healing, ethics and inner transformation are inseparable.

Abstract
In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, breath is situated at the threshold where body and mind meet and psychophysical life becomes an opening towards liberation. Essential in guiding the meditator’s attention, it enables interoceptive techniques that reshape the dynamic unity of body and conscious experience from within. This study examines how the conscious use of breath, within Tibetan doctrinal and contemplative frameworks, informs an integrated conception of human experience, in which healing, ethics and inner transformation are inseparable.File in questo prodotto:
