The proceedings of the Korean Studies Graduate Students Convention (KSGSC), held at the University of Naples “L’Orientale” in 2024, represent the first volume published in the history of this event, now in its eighteenth edition. Each year, the convention aims to provide a platform for exchange and visibility for early-career scholars in the field of Korean studies, highlighting the diversity of approaches and themes that characterize research on Korea. This volume gathers contributions from six researchers selected to present at the convention. Their research—united by a shared passion for Korea—spans various disciplinary fields, including Korean language teaching, literature, visual arts, women’s cinema, and social movements.
