This article re-examines the manuscripts and textual tradition of Moeris’ lexicon, with particular attention to the so-called Vatican recension. It also discusses the structure of the lexicon and its relationship with the Ecloga of Thomas Magister. Finally, a new edition of the letter alpha is presented.
