This article focuses on the negotiation of inclusivity in institutional communication in Quebec and Italy, proposing a comparative study of the evolution of recommendations for inclusive language in both contexts (Quebec and Italy) to open the field to a reflection on the translation of non-sexist and neutral writing, and on a possible translation/adaptation of the activist strategies of inclusivity used in Quebec for the Italian context and for the Italian language.
