This article examines the artistic employment relationship, which exhibits “special” features compared to other contractual models within the Italian legal system, while simultaneously aligning with broader contemporary labor law trends. The analysis initially concentrates on the legal qualification of the relationship, considering the widespread use of various contractual types and, notably, innominate forms such as the scrittura artistica (artistic engagement contract). Subsequently, the study explores the concrete protection needs within the entertainment sector, stemming from the intermittent and discontinuous nature of the work. These needs have found an initial regulatory response in the recent reform of sector-specific social safety nets (Legislative Decree No. 175/2023), as recently amended by Law No. 199/2025.

Abstract
199/2025.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
