Il ruolo strategico dell'intelligenza collettiva in azienda

In order to interpret organisational changes, we have a growing need for categories and concepts. The aim of this article is to clarify the concept of Collective Intelligence and offer a new definition that highlights all its components through a systematic review of the literature. Empirical research presents a heterogeneous picture and, over time, the term has been associated with a multitude of meanings and synonyms. Furthermore, the construct appears to be highly interdisciplinary and does not fit neatly within the traditional disciplines of Business, Management or Social Sciences. Overall, CI seems to be an inherently complex phenomenon that is difficult to define. Although the term is widely used in various disciplines, from organisational studies to Artificial Intelligence, there is still no consensus on its precise definition.
