However, due to time constraints we will instead progress to dimeric model compounds and will then rst focus those simulating a link between two G-units. Peter J. Deuss commented: In the manuscript and presentation you mostly refer mostly to p-benzoquinone aer mentioning that you cannot distinguish between p-benzoquinone and o-benzoquinone. Does it not make sense that the major benzoquinone is actually the ortho, looking at the pathways of conversion of guaiacol? And also is there not a way to deconvolute the signals to get information on the ortho and para ratio?
