A few years later, this study will examine the discovery in Oderzo of an extraordinarily large building connected to a pit for unloading pottery, which suggests an activity that could be interpreted as the celebration of collective meals between the tenth and the sixth centuries BC. This context is rare, if not unique, in pre-Roman Italy and further investigation is needed to shed light on it. Useful resources would facilitate further analysis and studies, including the use of new technologies such as gas chromatography, palaeozoological and archaeobotanical studies, and carpology. In the absence of targeted research, hypotheses are used to contextualise the findings within the Etruscan-Italic scenario.
