L’INVINCIBILE IMMANENZA DEL POTERE NELLE FAVOLE DELLA DITTATURA DI PAOLO EMANUELE MONTALBANO

This contribution deals with the drawings produced by the artist Paolo Emanuele Montalbano, inspired by The Fables of the Dictatorship by Leonardo Sciascia. It also takes into consideration the series of drawings made by Giosetta Fioroni, based on the same text. The analysis also searches for the motifs of Sciascia’s work and compares them with subsequent adaptations. Finally, it examines the three different endings, each responding to a specific authorial vision.
