The article describes the steps of the work in progress (digital edition) about Robert Garnier’s imitation of the last three canti of the poem Orlando furioso by Ludovico Ariosto, in the tragicomedy Bradamante, printed in 1582. The theatrical adaptation concerns linguistic, stylistic, literary genre changes in the dialogue between cultures.
