This article presents the analysis of the iron-gall inks (IGI) in MS II/1391 (2) of the Gondomar collection housed in the Royal Library by using the non-invasive technique of Raman spectroscopy, as well as the statistical processing of the spectra using different mathematical algorithms for chemometric analysis. The study of the results obtained allowed to verify the effectiveness of this technique for philological purposes, as it has been possible to distinguish the different inks used by the manuscript's author (Abagaro Frescobaldi, alias Botarga).
