The paper introduces the project ThERA (Theran Epigraphic Rubbings Archive), which aims at high resolution digitization and online availability, on a dedicated server, of a series of rubbings (frottage) of Greek inscriptions from the “Agora of the Gods”, on the island of Santorini, ancient Thera. For each rubbing, the scanning process is accompanied by the encoding of the relevant inscription in TEI EpiDoc and geolocation on a dynamic map.
