This work presents a study of certain fragments of a ship, built using the sewn-technique of ship-construction, clear evidence of which has been found in the North Adriatic Sea and dates from the Roman Period: these fragments were recovered between 1993 and 2022 along the seashore of Alberoni Beach, on the island of ‘Lido of Venice’. The specific context of these discovered fragments, which are believed to belong to the same shipwreck (called Lido 1), the analysis of the technical details, and the results of the dendrochronological analysis permitting the tree ring dating of these wooden finds, are presented here together with the new documentation method using an Artec Eva laser scanner.

Abstract
This work presents a study of certain fragments of a ship, built using the sewn-technique of ship-construction, clear evidence of which has been found in the North Adriatic Sea and dates from the Roman Period: these fragments were recovered between 1993 and 2022 along the seashore of Alberoni Beach, on the island of ‘Lido of Venice’. The specific context of these discovered fragments, which are believed to belong to the same shipwreck (called Lido 1), the analysis of the technical details, and the results of the dendrochronological analysis permitting the tree ring dating of these wooden finds, are presented here together with the new documentation method using an Artec Eva laser scanner.I documenti in ARCA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
