Un giogo e altri reperti lignei dal sito palafitticolo di Este, via Comuna (PD). Recupero, restauro e studio preliminare

A preventive archaeology intervention, conducted in 2015 as part of the works for the variant to the route of the Snam Alfonsine - S. Bonifacio methane pipeline, led to the discovery in the northernmost section, west of Este (PD), of a pile dwelling site from the Recent Bronze Age. The contribution illustrates the stages of recovery and restoration of wooden artifacts, including a maple wood yoke with traces of wear and repair and some skeins made from vine-shoots. Xylotomic analyses aimed at a preliminary study expand the picture of paleoenvironmental data for the area and period considered
