In this proceedings book, we present the full articles discussed at the International Conference held on May 30-31, 2023, dedicated to the methods of foreign language teaching and learning (including Italian as a second/foreign language). This highly topical subject has long been the focus of a group of linguists from UniPegaso, collaborating with professors, researchers, and PhD holders from language Centres and humanities Departments at various universities across the Mediterranean and Asian regions .The volume is accompanied by images and photos that testify to that “spontaneous architecture” that unites all the countries bordering the Mediterranean.

In questa collettanea presentiamo i saggi discussi in occasione della International Conference del 30-31 maggio 2023 dedicata ai metodi di apprendimento/insegnamento delle lingue straniere (tra cui anche l’italiano L2/LS). Trattasi di un argomento di grande attualità, di cui si occupa da tempo un gruppo di linguisti della UniPegaso, in collaborazione con docenti, ricercatori e dottori di ricerca afferenti a centri linguistici e dipartimenti umanistici di alcune università dell’area mediterranea e asiatica. Il volume è corredato di immagini di “architettura spontanea” similare in tutti i paesi che si affacciano sul Mediterraneo: un corpo d’acqua che accomuna le nostre radici storiche e culturali.
