This paper aims to provide a synthetic example of the research carried out within the SPIN project “ME.MO.R.I.A.”. (MEdieval Mural MOsaics in Italy: Rediscovering In Absentia - material, figurative and written traces), conceived and directed by Prof. Simone Piazza at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. In particular, we will give a brief overview of the evidence of lost wall mosaics, from Late Antiquity to the Middle Ages, attested in the territory of modern Puglia.
