"Ricostruire storie di pietra: per una rilettura degli scambi artistici tra Abruzzo e Capitanata nel Medioevo centrale"

The paper constitutes a synthetic re-examination of the stylistic connections of the liturgical furnishings of the monasteries of S. Clemente a Casauria in Abruzzo and S. Maria di Pulsano in northern Apulia, evaluating the cultural and social dynamics that enlivened their geographical and historical-artistic context. The aim is to improve the focus on some already present issues in historiography, for example on the origins and movements of certain workers, and to offer a new level of interpretation to the similarity of formal language highlighted by their sculptural products.
