Without reducing Heidegger's debt to Husserl to a filiation, the essay aims to highlight how some features of Husserlian phenomenological epoché, first of all its positive-opening character, rather than that of mere negation or removal of prejudices, are taken up by Heidegger. Thus the latter comes to dwell on the revealing bearing of the epoché of the world as world and then on the epochal character of Being.

Abstract

Without reducing Heidegger's debt to Husserl to a filiation, the essay aims to highlight how some features of Husserlian phenomenological epoché, first of all its positive-opening character, rather than that of mere negation or removal of prejudices, are taken up by Heidegger. Thus the latter comes to dwell on the revealing bearing of the epoché of the world as world and then on the epochal character of Being.
