Romanzo e saggio nel Novecento italiano: Sciascia "saggista nel racconto e narratore nel saggio".

This article retraces Sciascia’s work, highlighting contaminations as well as the alternations between essay and narrative which emerges. It analyses the traits of the peculiar experimentalism of the writer, who in an autonomous and original way seems to be in synchronisation with the search for and the need for renewal that, throughout the 20th century, animated the life of the novel. This experimentalism is constantly inscribed in the relationship between literature and reality.
