This paper reports a study with 10 pre-teens using the IoTgo educational toolkit for human-centred engineering with micro-electronics. The toolkit guided pre-teens from the exploration of the inner workings of sensors and actuators to the development of their own smart things for interacting with people with sensors, actuators, and wireless communication. The study triangulates multiple sources and analyses the experience for stirring future work at the intersection of education and human-centred engineering for young generations.

Abstract
This paper reports a study with 10 pre-teens using the IoTgo educational toolkit for human-centred engineering with micro-electronics. The toolkit guided pre-teens from the exploration of the inner workings of sensors and actuators to the development of their own smart things for interacting with people with sensors, actuators, and wireless communication. The study triangulates multiple sources and analyses the experience for stirring future work at the intersection of education and human-centred engineering for young generations.File in questo prodotto:
