This study aims to analyze two inscriptions with a common thread. The first, a limestone figured stele, at present preserved at the lapidarium of Flanona, current Plomin, in Croatia. The second is reused as a window sill at the Villa Martin in Sambruson, a hamlet near Dolo, in the Venice region. Despite the geographic distance that separate them, the two inscribed object present an onomastic analogy that could create an interesting connection among them.
