Abstract
Contemporary artists interrogate archives as repositories of documents, data and information and reinterpret them as dialogical 'dispositifs' that oppose the model of the institutional archive as an authoritarian organism of knowledge and memory and therefore also as an instrument of power. In this way, the archive defines itself as a ‘living’ system, i.e. one that is inclusive, accessible and in a constant state of becoming, warding off the danger of oblivion and censorship.File in questo prodotto:
