"The cancellations in the creative process" The cancellations are a key phenomenon in the process of the genesis of a work, and has a significant place in the methodology of genetic criticism, as it was developed by the researchers of the ITEM group. The paper presents the classification of cancellations developed by Grésillon and de Biasi. Finally, the author analyzes two typologies of deletions: cancellations in the last phase of genesis, and cancellations with substitution with the antonym of the deleted word.
