This Special Issue of Catalysis Today is a compilation of 21 original research papers presented at the GIC2022, the 22nd conference of the Gruppo Interdivisionale di Catalisi (GIC) of the Società Chimica Italiana (SCI), held in Riccione on 11-14 september 2022. The Gruppo Interdivisionale di Catalisi is the exchange forum of all catalysis-related components of the Italian Chemical Society. It especially promotes the interdisciplinary aspects of catalysis and the interactions between technology and fundamental research.
