Las letras de las armas: Cervantes y las vidas soldadescas

Within the importance of Cervantes’ military period, an examination of the soldier's stories is intended to propose a new generic reading of Cervantes’ work in a panoramic way: more than a simple autobiographical memory, these are fragments of soldier's life in which Cervantes experiments with the generic pattern of military relations in the first person. Between the weapons and the letters, the aim is to put together all the pieces of the puzzle to get closer to the letters of the weapons.
