Beside of Kazakhstan, Kazakh people also live as a minority in Mongolia, China, Kirgizstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Russia etc. In 1991 Kazakhstan became independent from the USSR. Therefore, Kazakhs living in other countries started migrating to Kazakhstan since 1992. In this article we will discuss the issues of Mongolian Kazakhs, and in particular the linguistic problems arose during the adaptation process which, in some cases, caused ethnic Kazakhs to move back to Mongolia, demonstrating the relevance of the linguistic matters for social adaptation. In this research we tried to identify these linguistic problems through the comparison of Kazakh language spoken in Mongolia and Kazakhstan and by examining language situation and effect of Russian language in Kazakhstan. Beside of these methods we interviewed Kazakhs who migrated to Kazakhstan from Mongolia in different time beings.
