Destino, commedia, metafore di condizione

The contribution concerns the meta-theatrical dimension of Andreini’s theatre, above all in the juxtaposition of the tragic ending to the comic one, but with the additional fundamental dimension of an ‘incerto fine’ which in turn dif- ferentiates the sudden acting, and the potentially horizon open, to the ‘closed’ one of the written text. Between the fictitious dimension of the scenic fabula and the real life of the women and men on stage, again, a relationship is offered that is not one of simple disguise but the multiple reflection of a game of mirrors.
