Abstract
The sketches and essays presented here thus tie in with the founding of the leaps in time. Driven by the fascination for these leaps in time and tiger leaps in the sense of Aby Warburg and Walter Benjamin, the idea that the past and the present always interact - be it as a brief flash of light or as an intensive confrontation between past and present - the Zeitsprünge have subsequently established themselves as an important interdisciplinary forum for early modern research, which has since then always taken a critical look at supposedly simple references and warns against overly quick analogizations. As productive for differentiated interpretations of the early modern period, the formulation or expropriated early modern texts, a new European way of thinking and thus also the perspectivization of a neglected Central Eastern European cultural history and show using the example of hope, that supposedly ahistorical universals of 'man' are to be understood as historically conditioned.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
