The contribution is divided into three thematic chapters: the first (The Province) concerns the provincial statute and the anomalies of its institution. The second theme addressed (Legal status and administrative repercussions) concerns the so-called 'fictitious Latin colonies'. In the third part of the paper (Territorial organization: the contribution of epigraphic documentation), the boundary stones of Mount Venda and Teolo, the fragments of the land registry of Verona, the dies natalis of Patavium, Vicetia and Feltria were examined.
