The present work analyzes workplace sexual assaults, taking into account in particular the cinematic industry. Considering, thanks to legal realism and to the comparison among the Italian and the American perspectives, some famous cases, we understand that this problem is common to different legal systems. Therefore, we can affirm that these violent attacks cannot be defined as gender discrimination issues, but they have to be seen as power abuses, that hurt both women and men.

Abstract
