Abstract
People who work in reception centres have the potential to exercise a hugely positive influence. However, the VULNER project found that they face challenging conditions that ultimately risk creating or compounding the vulnerability of the individuals with whom they work. In Italy, for example, all social workers and migrants interviewed were concerned about the understaffing, low pay and overwork at reception centres. This was especially the case at “extraordinary reception centres” (CAS).File in questo prodotto:
