The present study aims to describe and research the Alternative Trade Organizations (OCAs) in relation to their their characteristics as Strategic Centers of a productive chain chain, within the current context of consumer appreciation for products and services for products and services committed to social responsibility social responsibility and with the perspective of reducing social exclusion through productive actions existing in Brazil. The article illustrates the concepts of fair trade, distribution channels and the OCA's and relates them in a Non Governmental Organization, the NGO Empreendedores de Sonhos . This work is justified by the importance of attitudes of social and economic development and economic development, abandoning the idea of welfarism as a strategy for strategy for the management of the third sector. The OCA's offer a rich rich experience in the conduction of distribution channels synchronized with the reduction of social differences by means of better remuneration to remuneration to producers and meeting the needs of an increasingly more demanding and aware consumers.
