The paper focuses on the relationship between import and glass production in pre-Roman Veneto, from the earliest finds. The contribute concerne the importance of archaeometric analyses to identify imported forms from those of probable local production or referable to a circulation in northern Italy. To these considerations is added an evaluation of the diffusion of the main types of jewelery, from beads to pendants to the later Celtic-style armillas, accompanied by precious imported objects such as balsamari with feathered decoration of Phoenician-Rhodian or Egyptian import.
