In Mexico, the extreme violent scenarios derived from the misnamed “guerra contra el narco” have generated several national and international imaginaries where Memory has often become an aseptic marketing product. The digital portal Nuestra Aparente Rendición, created by the Catalan writer Lolita Bosch, represents an exception. By focusing on the action of collective construction of memory, this essay aims to read NAR as a lieu de mémoire that is able to guarantee the democracy and justice that the reality itself undermines.

Abstract
In Mexico, the extreme violent scenarios derived from the misnamed “guerra contra el narco” have generated several national and international imaginaries where Memory has often become an aseptic marketing product. The digital portal Nuestra Aparente Rendición, created by the Catalan writer Lolita Bosch, represents an exception. By focusing on the action of collective construction of memory, this essay aims to read NAR as a lieu de mémoire that is able to guarantee the democracy and justice that the reality itself undermines.File in questo prodotto:
