This article provides an overview about current legislation about children welcoming in schools, their training and evaluation. A particular focus is dedicated to junior high schools’ tests for students without italian citizenship. Recently the composition of classes has changed significantly. Classes are becoming multilingual and plurilingual. This particular situation has brought the necessity of a transformation in the evaluation and consequently even the methodology has change.

Abstract
