Starting from Pascal’s and Bourdieu’s positions on the subject of habit, in this paper we will present a synoptic analysis of excerpts from the writings of Evagrius Ponticus and from the Bhagavadgītā, with the aim of illustrating the advantages that can be drawn when the problem of habitus is understood jointly with the development of the biopolitical work carried out by the agencies of naturalization of habit.
