This article proposes a reflection on the role of conditionality in monetary measures to combat poverty and, more specifically, in the case of Income Inclusion (REI). Particular attention is given to the ways in which conditionality can be found in a coordinated system of multi-institutional interventions that integrate social support, income protection, employment promotion and activation.
