The paper deals with the theoretical principles of intercultural communication textbooks. Particular attention is paid to dialogue of two cultures, presented as a dialog of texts in a new textbook “Russia – Italy: dialogue of cultures”, which is addressed to Italian students, who study Russian at university. Describes the most important features of the content and structure of this textbook.
